I personally think it's a bit murky, as she's only slept with one man and didn't seem particuarly into him, but on the other hand, she had no reason (ie, information, a cover, etc) to sleep with him if she didn't want to. It's possible she's bisexual and homoromantic, but I'm not sure if that's what the creators intended. Given how blurry other character's sexualities are (almost to Everyone Is Bi territory), it could honestly go either way.
I've been here too long. Regretting choosing this screenname ten years ago.It seems best not to put her in the lesbian category then. Maybe Ambiguously Bi if it's not agreed it indicated bisexuality.
What's up with the edit war over Self-Made Orphan? I agree that it should be there, but adding something back after it's been deleted (without discussing first) is against the wiki's rules.
There is no war in Ba Sing Se. Hide / Show RepliesYes, that's my bad, I forgot. I'll remember to post things here first.
Does Bury Your Gays really apply here? The show is about assassins. Enough straight characters are similarly killed (Sebastian, Kenny, Raymond, most of Villanelle's victims) and enough LGBT characters survive (Villanelle, Eve, Elena) that I don't think you can say LGBT characters are treated as 'more disposable.'

So, a troper named tabbyclove has changed Villanelle's sexuality to lesbian, not only on the main page here plus her Characters entry but also on the Depraved Bisexual and Psycho Lesbian pages. I'm not sure why, but it seems to maybe stem from her only having romantic attraction for women shown. However, she's sexually attracted to men along with women from what I recall, which would make her bisexual. I messaged them about this two days ago, but there's been no reply. What do others think? Have I got this wrong?
