Having never seen the show, I think it's fine. The only thing I'd do is add "to many viewers" after "the worst writer on the staff who has no understanding of the characters."

Hide / Show RepliesNot this trope, CP/FP is a platonic love where she gets respect, and Finn has always been a dick with her.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again. From what I've heard most of the writing staff and Matt Groening himself didn't care for Skinner being a false identity and "Mother" not being his real mother. Is this an out-of-universe example? Because I'm not sure if it's acknowledged more than once or twice, and can't see why it would beyond very subtle references to "Principal Tamzarian".
Was this a post-season 10 thing only, or haven't the average citizens of Springfield always been a little dim and/or mobbish?
Under My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, we currently have this:
- Merriwether Williams' debut episode "The Mysterious Mare Do Well" is still a top contender for the show's worst episode. Her next episode, "Hearth's Warming Eve," was better received, but then "Putting Your Hoof Down" and "Dragon Quest" were again controversial and cemented her reputation as the worst writer on the staff who has no understanding of the characters, despite the next season's "Wonderbolt Academy" showing that she's definitely learned from her mistakes. This is best illustrated by the response to her episode "Bats," which was accidentally credited to Meghan Mc Carthy. Response to the episode was very positive at first, but when the word came of who really wrote it, a lot of fans suddenly turned on it just because of her.
This seems to have been written by a member of Williams's Hatedom. I respectfully suggest that it should be rewritten in a more impartial tone, so that it merely documents the fan reactions to her episodes rather than taking sides. I'm not qualified to do this (since I didn't start watching the show until long after those events took place), but hopefully another fan who is more knowledgeable about the Broken Base response to Williams's work can improve this entry so it's not an outright attack.
