This page says that Aku No Hana takes place in the same universe as Inside Mari. What is the evidence for this? Does Komori come from the same town as the characters here? Did Word of God say something about this?

Why does this page say the story is ongoing and doesn't have any ending tropes, when there's a final chapter?

Probably they were added while the manga was still ongoing and not yet removed when it ended.
