Unfortunately, I've been guilty of serial tweaking, but it usually happens when I try to use preview only to find that I see "Waiting for TV Tropes ..." or "Sending request ..." at the bottom of my browser window for a while and no preview page showing up. For some reason, saving the page is sometimes quicker than previewing it. Darned if I know why.

My serial tweaking episode happened just a little bit ago. I was starting a new page, and scared that I was gonna lose it all somehow (Yay for 1 am logic!). So what did I do? Fall back on old video game instincts: Save Early, Save Often

Same. ...Though it may have something to do with the page in question being periodically posted...and me being the only one who edits it...because I'm the one who writes it...etc.
