Meocross: <—- a Guilty Serial Tweaker

Madacaek: Guilty. :) Hell, I was gonna suggest we make a page about people like me who do this, but I guess I was beaten to it. :D

Fast Eddie: Thanks, Serial Tweakers, for taking the trouble to get it right. Pulled ...

This gets annoying quite easily, as the history gets filled up with these tweaks. For an example, look at Terror Island's page history. Aside from two or three edits it was all done by two people. This is most often caused by the editor not spell-checking, not knowing the markup, or because the editor is a Grammar Nazi that can't leave their own sentences alone.
... as it is just a bunch of snotty carping.

Robert Bingham: Guilty. I do this a lot on forums, but then again, forums have a preview function where one can proofread what they've written so far and check to see how it looks on the screen before hitting the "submit" button.

Madacaek: Seriously, when ARE we getting a preview button? :)

Octal: I seem to remember once sending something with the "as draft" checkbox checked, and having it send... not as a draft. ETA: In fact, I did it with this comment. THIS IS MADNESS

Sci Vo: Sending it "as draft" just keeps it from showing up in Recent Changes.

Octal: Ohhh, I see. Thanks.

Zeke: There's another downside to the draft option: once you do get your edit right, you'll want it to appear on Recent Changes, but there's no way to turn a "draft" edit into a real one. You have to either correctly guess which edit will be successful or make some trivial edit afterwards. That's why I don't bother with draft at all; it's nice to have, but it's no substitute for a preview function.

Drow Lord: If I don't get something right the first time, I almost always mark corrections as a "minor edit." Is that wrong?

Geese: On the contrary, that's largely what the checkbox is for.

Jordan: I have to admit I'm often guilty of this; generally remember to check Minor edit though.

Caswin: You know what, I'm deleting the paragraph about TV Tropes actually having a preview button in the form of the "as draft" box. We've firmly established by now that that isn't true.

Katrel: Sorry, all. I don't make many edits, but when I do, I'm horribly guilty of this, cause of my total n00bness. :/

Skarmory The PG: Whoa. When did they put that in?

Sabre Justice: I always knew I was chronically guilty of this, now I find a trope for it. I think it's vastly preferable to the alternative. (ie: red links, typos, various other typing failures)
