It's not a stupid question. The quote page index is different from many others because it is auto-generated.
You can make a temporary link to the page-to-be anywhere, e.g. the Wiki Sandbox. Clicking that will work just as well as clicking a link from an index.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

I have been thinking that we should say that people should put all the quotes on the quotes wiki page, including the ones on the main page. That way people can shuffle things around easier if they like and the quotes pages can be read independently for all the relevant quotations.
So, this'll probably sound like a stupid question, since I've been a troper far too long not to know this, but how does one add a new Quotes page? Normally, when I want to add a new page, I make a link to it from an index, but I can't edit the quotes index.
