That's a bit more suited for Trope Finder.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.
Is there a trope for when The Hero's best friend, who is The Lancer, is especially at odds with the friend that will eventually turn traitor, but The Hero himself doesn't notice or care until it happens? Like in Harry Potter, where Sirius was absolutely loyal to James but always somewhat edgy towards Peter even before Peter joined the Death Eaters?
