Am I to understand there was a reson behind the banning of real life examples on this page? It certainly appears to have been added after the existence of certain recent high-profile examples like Savile and Harris...
Yes, we were getting controversial and shoehorney entries (these two people don't count even without NRLEP - the depravity needs to be part of the work, not merely happening to the actor).
Is it really fair to put Tom Baker and William Hartnel on this page? Sure they were jerks, but being a jerk isn't the same as being depraved and as the entry itself points out they were never cruel to their child fans. They really don't belong on a page that includes Jimmy Savile, Stuart Hall or Rolf Harris.
From an outside point of view, yeah I agree. JerkAssism in general is not the same thing as being depraved.
Actually, here I would question the inclusion of Savile, Hall and Harris. We are not here to document cases of Real Life depravity as opposed to such being portrayed inside the work. Plus, the description does allow for jerks.
How about a picture of Jimmy Savile, Britain's most prolific sex criminal and kids show host, for the page image?
