This trope was renamed from Blaming The Railroaded Player Character per TRS.
I personally think this page should be cleaned up and limited to cases in which the game is explicitly Breaking the Fourth Wall (e.g. Plumbers Don't Wear Ties), are obviously built on meta-commentary about the player (e.g. Spec Ops: The Line) or feature a Player Character with no pre-defined or "canon" personality (e.g. MMORP Gs), since apart from these cases, the game is commenting on the actions of the character, rather than the player.
