It seems a lot of these examples need to be cut. My understanding is that the innuendo can't be intentional on the part of the author. Therefore, if any character notes it or reacts to the innuendo *as* innuendo, it can't be an accident on the author's part.
Pulled this:
- In "Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy", Homer's attempts to sell a sexual revitalizing tonic...don't go well.
Homer: Sir! Uh, hello sir! Yes, you look like a man who needs help satisfying his wife. So...(gets punched in the face)
Because it's neither accidental nor innuendo.
Anyone care to move the Real Life examples to their own page?
Peace is the only battle worth waging. How do we know these are accidental and not on purpose? Just saying....
Hide / Show RepliesYou can never be sure. Some of the examples I read just made me think "Um...what? I never would have seen anything wrong with it untill I read that!"
On the other hand, here's one hilarious example: There is a fanfic entitled "Stuck in Peach Creek." The author of said fanfic stated in the summary that 'this is not a yaoi!' Oh boy...Well, if it was, that title would mean something TOTALLY DIFFERENT!
