I don't think this is the Trope Namer for What You Are in the Dark — the original quote is attributed to Dwight L. Moody, and the YKTTW page originally made no reference to Buckaroo Banzai.

  • Catchphrase
    • "No matter where you go, there you are."
    • "It's not my damn planet, monkeyboy!"

Deleted because each occurred only once in the movie. To be a Catchphrase they must occur multiple times.

Ok — they'd be quotes, then, but is there a trope for a line by which a movie is extremely well known like those two lines are for this film? I'm curious.

We don't have to be mean. Remember - no matter where you go, there you are. —Buckaroo Banzai
