Comic Book/Guardians appears to be about an entirely unrelated work from Film/Guardians. ~~~~

Let me guess, there are those who would call this film "Russian Avengers", right?

Yes, except it was also universally panned by critics. For very good reasons: namely, lack of explanations in regards to the characters' backstory, the characters being effectively cartons (with the Guardians themselves never dropping the Idiot Ball), lots of plot holes in regards to the characters' abilities (for example, Xenia being seen by the clones' termographic glasses, even though she herself said that she can control her own body temperature) and some very poor design choices in regards to August Kuratov.
