Whose brilliant idea was it to add a trope list to a company as if it was a fictional character or something? Explain yourselves!
Edited by 69.47.43.173 Hide / Show Replieswell, many other real live company's and events have tropes lists, so why not this?
The query is over a year old, but for future reference, creators are allowed a list of tropes found in their works. The catch is tropes about the creators themselves are not allowed and the Nintendo pages do need cleaning of this — it's just nobody has started working on (or a started a project for) said cleaning yet.
Edited by Ngamer01Precedent in of itself is not a good reason. Nintendo doesn't play a role in any shows, it's not an on screen, on panel or on page presence which tropes apply to. It shouldn't have a trope list.
^ Actually Nintendo does play a role in a show. Its very own in-house Nintendo Direct. I digress though. If you believe all Creator pages should be moved to Useful Notes namespace and the Creator namespace discontinued, you can ask in Wiki Talk on the forums to see if you can establish consensus.
Edited by Ngamer01Regarding the Fatal Frame edit war... my quick research is indicating that they do co-own the rights. I can't see why we wouldn't include that, then.

It was marketed as being a portable system, but in practice it's not really very portable at all. So, do we put it in the folder for Home Consoles or Portable Consoles?
Hide / Show RepliesI'm proposing we just limit the list to distinct spinoffs, that's how it used to be until people started slipping in numbered sequels. Its supposed to be a partial selection.
Edited by Cider Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThe Nintendo 3 DS has NES Virtual Console, but if you bought the game on Wii, you can't transfer it to the portable like you can Playstation games from the Playstation 3 to the PSP. If you want to play at home and on the road, you have to buy it twice. Dick move, Ninty, dick move.
I'm sorry, what now?

While I admire the dedication and effort put into it, do we really need to list all the V As under the Notable People section? I feel like that would be better served on a Trivia page or somewhere else, especially some of the entries. Charles Martinet has voiced several characters in their prime franchise, so I feel he belongs, but Matthew Mercer?
