Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:

That Blizzard sometimes gets the capitalization wrong happens all the time. For instance, in-game Kel'Thuzad is often erroneously written as Kel'thuzad, same with Mal'Ganis. Blizzard not knowing how to write their employee's in-game nick doesn't mean we have to adhere to this. Kevin Johnson's nick is cloaken and not Cloaken.

The official name of the actual announcer has a capital C. That's probably not erroneous, and even if it were, that's just how it is in-game. If the official name changes, then that can switch. Putting it with a lowercase C in the lore text is a good enough nod I think.

Also, aesthetically, it looks better capitialized. It's just weird to have a lowercase name, which is probably why Blizzard opted to capitalize it to begin with.

But that's the point. Blizzard gets official names and capitalization wrong all the time. They hired an author who had to point out that they capitalized tons of things incorrectly (namely races and classes), and this isn't even about grammar, this is simply a name with its own way of writing.

What looks better aesthetically is also entirely subjective. My point is accuracy, because cloaken himself writes his name with only lowercase letters, just as scHwimpi is written scHwimpi (and not Schwimpi), and NaCHoJin is written NaCHoJin (and not Nachojin). I'll concede that accuracy can be argued the other way too, with Blizzard officially using Cloaken instead of the way cloaken writes his name.

But fine, let's leave it like that for now. Arguing because of a single letter is in the end not worth the time.
