Did a great big edit on this page. Here are my reasons.
I reordered route examples to put CF after the others.
I removed quotation marks around "those who slither in the dark", because that's a description, not a name.
I changed a few references to Edelgard to the Flame Emperor to remove the need for spoiler tags.
I also reworded the CF thing to stop it sounding like sparing Claude is the default option, or even that you get a choice in the matter by default.
I moved tropes that only happen in Heroes to their own section.
Tropes I removed:
- First Guy Wins: On the Verdant Wind route, he is the first potential love interest for a female Byleth to join the party.
This is a harem trope. You can marry Claude, but he's just one option.
- The Kirk: Of the main three lords, he shares the level-headedness of Edelgard and holds the belief of strong camaraderie like Dimitri, using pragmatism and tricks to protect his comrades and avoid unnecessary casualties in battle.
This trope only applies to a member of a trio, which Claude is not.
- Kissing Cousins: In the loosest sense and only if the player wills it - If one of the Abyss Library's documents is anything to go by, he's very distantly related to Ingrid.
They're not close enough to count.
- Token Good Teammate: Of the three lord characters, he's far and away the most moral from beginning to end.
This trope is about one goodie on a team of baddies.

Just like in Edelgard's page, I question WHY separating Heroes tropes is valid.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.
