I don't think there is "previous unfavorable depictions of Americans". Most memorable Americans in Gundam (Chibodee, and the Overflag team) are heroic, even if somewhat goof.
It help that in most series, America doesn't exist as nation anymore, with all united under The Federation flag.
No, I mean in Valvrave and Sunrise works, not Gundam in particular, where all of the characters from the ARUS (which was comprised of most of North America and some of Europe) turned out to be irredeemable jerks.
Also, the Atlantic Federation from SEED were total bastards.
What's precedent ever done for us?必殺仕事人/Hissatsu Shigotonin. The bit about Orpheus was actually kind of accurate, most of its attacks (and its finisher theme, too) are based on this show.
I think add it to Shout-Out is better then...
Edited by 118.173.52.194With the amount of mythology gags that will and sure it will occur in the series, be prepared to make just a page of Mythology Gag for this series.
I don't know why, but I feel like Nils is Sunrise's way of making up for their previous unfavorable depictions of Americans.
