Find a Show:
openHorror show was on Netflix Film
It was a show about a website that people would go on and post murders. There was a woman whose apartment kept getting broken into and the person was leaving the toilet seat up. She was a nurse and ended up murdering someone at the end and left his head in a bag under a bridge for someone to find she posted about it on the website
openVHS double feature
There was a VHS from my library about this kid who's in a castle and different classic monsters arrive one by one, Frankenstien is on the cover. It's an animated movie. Do you know what it is?
Edited by WackyCetaceousopenCrocodile Detective. Western Animation
My friend swears they remember a show that was partly live action about an alligator who was a private eye/detective with a trench coat. He was accompanied by children and spoke directly to the viewer. The alligator would teach the viewer about science and my friend mainly remembers an episode about Magnetism.
openLate 80's Early 90's horror movie or show about a kid who turns into a doll
Greetings. I'm trying to find a movie or show I saw when I was a kid back in the early 90's. It was about this boy who was apparently sick, his big sister or maybe his mother took care of him. I remember a scene where he was in his bed covered with a blanket playing with his sister, she covered his face completely with the blanket and then took it away and he had turned into a doll apparently made of yarn if I remember correctly. It was very unsettling back then for me and I haven't been able to locate what movie or show it was. Thanks! :)
Edited by ZeiruikaminaopenShort film: Making food out of ordinary objects [ANSWERED] Live Action TV
Years ago (I don't remember when, but it was possibly sometime in the 2002-2013 timeframe) I saw a short film on TV. It was a partially stop-motion film where someone (I think they were always off-frame) was preparing food using household objects as ingredients. In particular I remember a scene where the cook put colored crayons into the pot, which then went slack and soft and turned into thick colored pasta; and when he added two game dice which then shrank as if they were "melting". The film ended with the cook demonstrating the prepared meal. Anyone knows what I'm talking about?
Edited by KorodzikopenSTEPHEN KING NOVEL Literature
I am searching for a Stephen King novel about a future of where people do not approve of having children. Some tropes for it include "hate plague" (though later averted) and "child hater" (and maybe "would hurt a child"). I thought this begun with a "d" or "i", but I could be wrong. Can anyone please help me? For the life of me I cannot remember this story.
openNo Title Literature
It was a short story about an alien invasion,a General Patton style figure decides to open t5he alien space ship and kill everyone inside. He's dismissed, and another general takes over. The new general allows the aliens to escape, and they start killing people. The decision is made to nuke the city to kill all the aliens. Secstate wants to nuke the city, but the president and vice president dont. The general kills them both, and refers to the sec state as president, suggesting he will nuke the city
openWhat song could this be? Music
This is probably too vague but maybe someone knows what song this is.
I don't remember anything except that it's a recent (2009-2015) song, it's either hip-hop or r&b, it was popular on American radio stations, and it was a remix. In fact, I have never heard the original version on radios. I remember that at the start the song said something like "This is the remix" but no one played the original version.
openScene from a martial arts movie from the 70s Film
This is a scene I remember from an old martial arts film my brother and I saw on "Kung Fu Theater" probably in the late 70s or very early 80s. A big hulking brute of a guy, completely bald except for a pony tail, is one of the villains. In one scene, some kids use (I think) a slingshot to knock a bee's nest out of a tree. It lands on the guy's head and when he pulls it off his face is comically swollen and disfigured. One of the heroes fights him and in the course of the fight he flips over the big bad guy and rips off his pony tail.
That's really about all I remember. Anyone know what movie this might be?
openEarly 2000's childrens show about girl with puppets Live Action TV
I remember this show being on channel 5's milkshake in the UK roughly around the late 90's to the early 2000's. Basically there were two puppets a male and a female who lives on like a ship deck or a boat of some kind and they had a real female girl who I vaguely remember dancing and possibly singing while brushing a broom around the deck. I remember I used to love this show and it would be great if I could find out what it was called!
open"Million mile shot?"
A murder mystery where an astronaut is shot while in orbit (one hell of a locked-room mystery). The reveal is that he was hallucinating due to drugs given by the murderer and shot himself, just as the murderer had planned. I was certain the phrase "million mile shot" was in the title, but google doesn't return anything.
openBritish Talk Show Live Action TV
I'm trying to remember a british talk show where the host would be like Oh whats better between A and B and he'd get two people dressed in costumes of A and B to fight it out, once it was like a lobster, and something else the intro had bubbles in it? Thats all I can remember sorry! :(
openSome movie, I guess Film
This has been on my mind for sometime now. I saw it once on HBO or some other channel like that, but I'm not sure. It's about this woman who finds out that there's guy who lives near her/lives to the apartment room next to hers (or something like that if I remember) who's covered in hair. I also really remember this scene where he's in a bathtub and the woman shaves all his hair off and he kinda has blood on him (again IIRC). Later (or previously in the movie, IDK) there's this whole talk about more "weird people" like him living in the apartment building?
My memory about this movie's kind of unclear, so that's probably the best explanation I can describe.
open australian or canadian show some kids form a co-ed band and they work at a smoothie shop Live Action TV
I remember watching this show on netflix when i was younger. it had a name that ended with -ables or something like that
openLate '90s music video where the singer crawls across the roof of a truck Music
I remember this being in heavy rotation/top 30 on Canada's Much Music channel in the mid-to-late '90s: a perky bubblegum country-ish pop song where the (female) singer is chasing a generic male chauvinist trucker, and at one point scales the back and roof of his 18-wheeler and drops down through his driver-side window and punches him out like a scene out of Mad Max.
At least, that's how I remember it. I have no idea who the singer was, although I vaguely remember her looking like Lisa Loeb, but that could just be me projecting. I also seem to remember the refrain "help me feed my addiction", which I might have misheard. No luck Googling it based on any of this.
openA Retro Game Videogame
This month, I saw a You Tube video (might have been made by CG Rundertow or Lord Karnage) that showed off this old videogame designed to teach you programming that might have been for the Colecovision or Intellivision.
All I can remember about it is that there was a room with pink walls and that the guy who made the video said that the game was very weird.
Can anyone please help?
openTyping Tutor with Tons of Characters Videogame
I'm trying to remember this old typing tutor game that had a slime with breath powers as the antagonist that kidnapped the characters that made up the other letters on the keyboard, and you had to save them all with the help of two kids representing F and J.
openSurvival VN? Videogame
I only have a few shaky details based on my memory about this... But I'll try regardless.
Basically, several people are trapped in some kind of building. Everything is locked, and they have to play the game if they want out. Most people I asked said Dangan Ronpa according to this description, but one thing I clearly remembered from the game I am looking for is a girl with short white hair, who looks like she knows more than she lets on.
Kirigiri from DR fits most of that bill... except the hair, and the name of the character I am looking for is (iirc) only around 4-5ish letters.
Any ideas?
Possibly a show, could have been a film either. From about 2000 onwards?
There were these two friends living in a flat together, one either faked his death or (unlikely I think) died and came back, and the other was hiding it for him.
It was sort of a lighthearted drama/comedy, in the vein of Peep Show
