Much thanks. One can Google almost anything, but Canadian pop singers and songs called 'My Addiction' do seem to get lost in the flood. Video was even better than I remembered, but not easy to find.
I remember this being in heavy rotation/top 30 on Canada's Much Music channel in the mid-to-late '90s: a perky bubblegum country-ish pop song where the (female) singer is chasing a generic male chauvinist trucker, and at one point scales the back and roof of his 18-wheeler and drops down through his driver-side window and punches him out like a scene out of Mad Max.
At least, that's how I remember it. I have no idea who the singer was, although I vaguely remember her looking like Lisa Loeb, but that could just be me projecting. I also seem to remember the refrain "help me feed my addiction", which I might have misheard. No luck Googling it based on any of this.
