It does seem suspicious. I sent an edit reason notifier.
That sounds related to this earlier query.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. The example as written was trying to apply early 2020s cultural values to a 1990s film. To the film's intended audience, "gypsy" wasn't seen as negatively as it is now.
I do have a history concerning "gypsy", both in that ATT query and in my participation in the Hot Gypsy Woman TRS thread.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Culturally Sensitive Adaptation, by its nature, doesn't care about post-release usage because it's judged from time of release.
(Preemptive note: this isn't an edit war. I removed the phrase "the gypsy slur" twice, but the second was purely a rewording because that phrase doesn't make grammatical sense.)

Can someone give some feedback on this edit for Culturally Sensitive Adaptation? It's about the terms being used for the Romani people, and seems to have some sort of agenda.
