You're right. I've watched both shows, and it's not that similar to Gumball, really. I support a rewrite.

Also, we usually don't need consensus from other tropers for Laconics.

I don't know if it's official, but I know there's a lot of support in the laconic cleanup thread to ban X Meets Y and Recycled In Space-style laconics.

But anyway, yeah, that's pretty useless.

Laconics are typically made by some random guy with little quality control. Laconics for tropes often misrepresent the trope, which is a known issue.

I also thought work page laconics were discouraged these days? Not sure if this is official policy or what.

I don't know if they are "discouraged", but they tend to be really dumb and Fan Myopia-dependent. But that is more discussion for Wiki Talk.
