Honestly, I think at this point it warrants a huge revert. And afterwards, we might discuss on some of the changes, but for now it is just way too much unwarranted change.

I've suspended them. I suppose the question is, do any of the changes actually improve the pages?
Well some pictures might be worth keeping, especially since some folders didn't have one yet, but we're gonna have to manually reinsert them again, for now please revert everything, there was just way too much borderline vandalizing in-between for any edits to stand.

Does it matter if the changes were improvements when they shouldn't have been changed in the first place? I would think the way to go is revert, then discuss.

Additions of new images are a free action and don't require discussion.

But changing dozens of already established images, removing caption texts and more does.
Like I said, I would be more than willing to re-add the new images afterwards, but I sitll think a major revert is needed for all the unwarranted changes in-between.

I've just checked the Smallville image changes and they're fine, the images he added were for characters that didn't have an image or are improvements. Can't vouch for his other edits.
I'm speaking mostly for the Arrowverse ones here. The new additions are all fine, and like I said I would be more than happy to add them back, but a lot of the replaced ones aren't really an improvement, and the problem is also that he outright removed many without a replacement for no good reason and also deleted captions or replaced them with empty ones.

^^ When you say improvements, do you mean "same image as before, but better quality", or "completely different image that is also better"? The first is fine, the second is a no-no, regardless of relative quality.

^ While the "improvements" robin made are definitely unwarranted (especially removing images without replacement), what if the previous image is just unambiguously bad and is in actual need of replacement?

Doesn't matter. Image replacements, unless quality swaps of the same images, need IP. Otherwise it could lead to things like edit warring or attempts to defy consensus.

Also DC Fan 2020 is a new troper that seems to be editing the same pages as robin8821 with similar edits, so I'm guessing they're the same person.

If ban evasion has entered the equation, then any new edits going forward are now invalid by default.

Yep, that's them. Both handles are bounced. I'm working on reverts but it's going to take time, they did a LOT of pages.
EDIT: Okay, I reverted all of DC's edits that were in their recent edits list, along with a lot of robin's edits. Are there any other pages that still need work?

seems to be on a editing spree for character pictures.
While that in itself is not something bad, he has changed a whole lot of stuff (see here
) without any discussion I could see.
He seems to replace a lot of pictures and even outright
delete
some of them, without any real apparent reason.

as we speak. I honestly think most of his pictures aren't an improvement, quite the contrary.
EDIT 2: He also left a whole lot of "Some caption text" captions.
