Doesn't Americans Hate Tingle apply only to certain countries or regions? And even though I've seen many people have Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! in general, there's still lots of fans in the West.

I always assume it was popular in its own country, not so much in another country.
Maybe that's more Values Dissonance? Since certain Western fans (especially those who aren't really into anime) may be more alienated by the anime art conventions that make Uzaki look so young.

In YMMV.Uzaki Chan Wants To Hang Out has a Americans Hate Tingle that im certain is being misused since it deals with the issue with one characters body.
Particularly among certain Twitter circles, there's a subset of the Western audience that is very vocal in their dislike of Uzaki, particularly due to their belief that her body type makes her oversexualized as well as the misconception that she is a minor and therefore promoting pedophilia (despite the fact that Uzaki is 19).
