Big Little Man, Depth Deception, possibly using Forced Perspective to make something look bigger than it is. Showing the thing's real size could be a Reveal Shot.
I didn't write any of that.

Perspective or camera tricks are used to make something appear huge, but then it is shown that it is actually much smaller. Like Phineas and Ferb has a scene where Doofenshmirtz is presenting his next Inator with the camera being shown from Perry's perspective as a large machine emerges from the ground with a lot of smoke, but then the camera zooms out and shows that the machine only reaches up to Doofenshmirtz's chest compared to how gargantuan it appeared before and he pulls a laser gun out of it.
