Maybe, most people do seem to use it as if it was Exaggerated Trope. It also seems to have far too overlap with other tropes like Beyond the Impossible, Broke the Rating Scale and Readings Are Off the Scale. But it has over 27000 wicks, and I feel like it may be too ingrained in this wiki culture to change.

I'd probably start with a cleanup thread in the Short Term Projects forum for this.

^^ Up To Eleven concerns an option to crank something to a higher number than what you’d normally find on something, like the page image for the trope.

Besides, we could always announce that Up To Eleven is being dewicked when worse comes to worse.

^ Was there already a cleanup thread for it that I haven’t noticed?
