Bump.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I would post in the trope description thread, and respond in discussion just noting the steps that led you there. Were they the troper to add the entry initially?
Apologies for the delay in response.
The entry was originally added by RWBYConversations in March 2019, a troper I think ended up banned at some point because they haven't posted since July 2019. I removed the entry in November 2019, and Emerald Theorem immediately started the discussion on the discussion page. Emerald Theorem hasn't engaged in any kind of edit war, they've just been a little uncomfortable to communicate with.
I'll take it to the trope description thread. Thanks for the advice.

Back in November, there was an issue over a Creator Backlash entry on the Trivia.RWBY page. I removed the entries because they appeared to be misuse of the trope. A Troper (Emerald Theorem) took it to the Discussion Page, but their adversarial posts made discussion difficult and led me to ask for help here.
The original ATT post is here and the Trivia discussion that triggered it is here.
The advice in the original ATT post was that the entries seem to be misuse and might be Old Shame instead, but there may be a trope description issue involved that should probably be double-checked on the Trope Description Improvement Drive thread.
That was going to be my next step, but real life got in the way and I completely forgot about this particular issue. It's only come back onto my radar now because Emerald Theorem has added it back to the Trivia page with no edit reason, but with an additional comment to the discussion page that seems unnecessarily aggressive. I understand them wanting to resolve an issue that's been left hanging for an unreasonable length of time (and that's entirely my fault), but their post feels like an attempt to pick a fight rather than a good faith attempt to resolve the matter. That leaves me not really knowing how best to respond without aggravating the situation further.
As far as I can tell, the next step should be to clarify the trope descriptions for Creator Backlash and Old Shame on the trope description thread to figure out which trope the examples best fit under. Does that seem like the way to go?
