Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread for ongoing cleanup projects.

You can create a work page on TLP if you want help with a draft.

It's not mandatory, though. See How to Create a Work's Page for more info.

By the way, don't be discouraged if it accumulates a bunch of bombs quickly. It's a really good idea if you want to crowd-source a work page to make sure you're not launching one poorly, but because Works Pages Are A Free Launch some people bomb them instantly.

I saw that taking the talk to the forums would be a good idea, but which forum does that go in? The page now has the minimum 3 tropes, but it is rather simple.

^ If you only want a peer-review of the work article and perhaps to collect more tropes, TLP is the right place.

If you want to brainstorm for the page with other possible fans and especially if you want to keep talking about the work after the page is launched, you can start a discussion in the forum. It depends what media it is.
