^ The page also says "No need to get rabid jealous, though, guys — this isn't the Harem Genre." It implies that if the lone guy is the protagonist, it's somehow automatically a Harem Genre?

^ Pretty much, yep. Note the second paragraph's thing about how there doesn't have to be any overt or primary romantic aspect to things. (An Unwanted Harem plot, for instance, revolves around there being a distinct lack of chemistry between the harem and the protagonist.)

^^Yes, which is why I'm asking if there's a trope like it for Harem protagonists because it's a fairly common plot gimmick. But not all harem protagonists live at all-female institutions.

Excuse Plot was my second guess, but that one's too broad so I'm looking for something more specific.

Edit: If there isn't one, I suppose Excuse Plot will do until I find a more suitable trope for it.

There could be a more specific trope than The One Guy, though. There are implications and complications behind a guy being put in an all-girls school.

^I scrolled through the index for Harem Genre to see if I could find anything that covers it and finally remembered there's Innocent Cohabitation. Problem solved.

Thanks to both of you for helping though.
