I was hoping for something a bit more specific (hence why I called it the "eyy" fingers thing), because the few times I've seen this in any medium, it's a greeting by a charismatic sort of person and they're going "eyy" and stuff. Kind of like this picture

Yep, that's finger guns. The "eyy" thing is almost obligatory in the "cool guy" form.
Note that simply doing the pose isn't meaningful, it needs to be used for some purpose- say, a signature Character Tic or something similar.
