Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

There's no rule against discussing things that aren't in the English version yet. If it's in one version of the game, it's worth mentioning it.
But TV Tropes uses the latest English translation whenever possible. Mentioning the Japanese name is not needed.
Is the one who keeps adding the literal JP translations of ability names ~Sneasel Sawashiro?
I remember a query about this in the past but I had, until now, thought it resolved.
Yes, it's that user, and no, it isn't being resolved. I recently cleaned up the page of those issues I mentioned but he just undid all my edits (thus starting an Edit War). I reported the page to the moderators but nothing has happened yet. What should I do?
Edited by BaithinI think you're good with what you've done so far. Between your report and this post a mod should inevitably see it and take action. If you don't hear back at all, though, I might bump this with any updates or changes that have occurred.
Hi all! I was just wondering, since this is a mobile game where the global version is months and months behind the JP version of the game, should we bother adding JP-only content to the English tvtropes pages?
Also, one user keeps adding the literal JP translations of ability names and even characters in various subpages. Shouldn't that stuff just belong on a Japanese translation of the page? For example, there are enemies called Manikins in the game but the user will put their JP translated name (Imitations) in parentheses. Or, directly quoted from the page, they will write "His rework provides a new framed buff called Powers Unleashed (Touki Kaihou/Fighting Soul Release in Japanese)..." Is all that really necessary?
