I don't agree with the idea that you need more than four words to establish an example as Buffy Speak. You do need some context, but the trope is mostly just being inarticulate, and while I'm not familiar with the source material, I do think a plaintive "Thiiis!" while gesturing vaguely all around your entire surroundings fits the bill if we don't have something more specific.
