Do we have this one?
Bob is British, he lives in London. One day, he meets Alice, who's American, and gets on well with her.
Over the next few months Bob becomes more Americanized in personality (in terms of positive things like optimistic, hard-working, driven) and only has very few British elements left in his personality. He still loves his country and being British though.
A few months later, Alice is with Bob at a party and hangs a lampshade on his Americanisms (in a joking manner).
It's not Fake American, as that's a casting trope, it's not Going Native, since Bob isn't in the U.S., but is it Foreign Culture Fetish or a different one, because it's only personality traits rather than The Theme Park Version of a culture?
