Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

There's a huge debate on this. A lot of tropers at least seem to agree that as long as there is objective information to be troped, a page can be made but must be kept clean of speculation and misuse. At this stage... no, wayyy too early for a page.
Edited by WarJay77 Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNo. We barely have enough information to know that it exists. Also, the article is from July. Who knows if it's even being worked on?
We do not need a page for it.
My Fanfiction.net Page My DeviantArt Page@Arctimon — There's been more since then (an article from late last year indicates that Disney's already in the merchandise-planning phase for it, which I'd consider pretty serious) but I wasn't necessarily going to do much more than set up the page itself with the brief synopsis and some of the named writing/producing credits. But yeah, after reading through the chat I'm on the side of leave it alone until there's at least a substantial formal announcement/concept art from Disney if not an actual trailer.
There's no point in making the page unless there are tropes to put on said page.
My Fanfiction.net Page My DeviantArt PageThe rule now is that there have to be enough tropes (3) before one can write a trope page about them. I am not sure if that announcement would be enough.

I'm not sure if this is where you'd ask this question, but are there any rules/guidelines regarding how early is too early for a film to have its own page? I wanted to make a page about the upcoming Disney live action film "Sadé" (https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/961177-sade-disney-developing-live-action-fairy-tale-about-african-princess) but there hasn't been any word from production yet other than that the film is being made and its basic premise.
