Earthworm Jim 2 had one powerup (a Chip Butty sandwich) that raised your health to 200%, well above the normal maximum.
I don't see any mention of this trope on that work page, so I guess we don't have an article about it yet.

Kind of surprising actually. I guess Too Many Halves counts but I was hoping for a more game specific trope.

Is there a trope for how it's possible in some games (usually RP Gs) to get buffs and the like which can raise your hp over your normal max? (So that your health meter will read something like "300/250".
