It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Yeah, I don't think we want anything trying to suggest there's anything positive about rape.
It may also be worth noting that ManOfSin has been the only editor on that page since January of this year.
Kill it with fire and burn the remains.
IF (and that's a very big "IF") the paragraph is not outright deleted, then at the very least it should be rewritten to remove ANY implication there might be anything positive about rape.
Burn the entry. We don't need rape apologia in any form on this site.
We'll be having a talk with the user. Feel free to revert.
Removed. Somehow I have the horrible flashback of F.A.T.A.L..
Edited by KuruniI think it was more an explanation of Values Dissonance than rape apologia. I agree with the removal, but I don't think it's worthy of disciplinary action.
Keet cleanupIt's questionable enough to deserve further conversation. Locking this query as the situation has been addressed.
ManOfSin added the following to the Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil page on how rape can in fact be necessary for the survival of the group:
"As rape has historically been used as a form of torture, such as in war. The Romans for example allowed soldiers to rape enemy women and/or men(which ever they preferred) of towns and cities that did not surrender as a form of punishment. All in order to install fear to other towns and motivate them to surrender, ending the war quicker which would save thousands and it worked. The license to rape and pillage was also considered a major incentive for the soldiers involved in siege warfare, even people who opposed to rape in peacetime like Francisco de Vitoria reluctantly admitted that might be a necessary evil in the context of war to boost the morale of troops. Particularly all ancient and medieval societies practiced this. It’s even done in recent conflicts like the Syrian War."
Any thoughts on whether that paragraph should stay or go?
