Fighter, Mage, Thief, or maybe Character Class System

Character Class System is definitely the starting point here, but the question is about a game where the character's class determines not only what abilities he has, but which Story Branching he's able to do.
Edit: Ah, looks like something along the lines of Combat, Diplomacy, Stealth.

In a game with multiple characters the game experience change base on which one you're playing as.
Alice is described to be a knight, and an upholder of law, so her gameplay is mostly based on following order, capturing criminal and fight in tournament, but she can't do anything illegal.
Bob is a rouge, a highwayman and an assassin, so his gameplay is mostly pickpocket, hold up, and assassinating, but he cannot be seen by the guards.
