Alright, thanks. While I'm at it, I should put Half-Life 2 and its Episodes in The Seventh Generation Of Console Video Games, because all of these games were included in the Orange Box bundle that was released on the Play Station 3 and Xbox 360.
HL2 is clearly "seventh-generation" where consoles are concerned.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
I'm debating whether to put Half-Life and its expansions in either The Fifth Generation Of Console Video Games or The Sixth Generation Of Console Video Games. The reason for this is because video game generations are primarily defined by the duration of their consoles, but since Half-Life 1 was originally released on the PC, this technically skewers that rule. This is combined with the fact that according to The History Of Video Games, the sixth generation started in 1998, and Half-Life 1 was released in 1998. So what should I do here?
