A basic thing that may not be a trope, unfortunately.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaI don't think any of those fit exactly. This is more akin to "Billy Elliot" Plot with a dash of Rags to Riches, with a low status character trying to be successful in a high class setting/occupation and getting kicked down every step of the way.

I think the reason it's not any one trope is because it's so universal that it's easy to to divide it into separate tropes at each step of the way. There's a lot of different ways for that particular story to play out, a lot of reasons to be poor, different kinds of establishment/elites at different points in history. Maybe if you could be a little more specific about the character?
When a character can't get any respect or be taken seriously by "the establishment" because he comes from a poor, non-aristocratic, or otherwise low status background.
