I don't see that there's a contradiction. Why is this a concern? Any given article should be listed on as many indexes as apply to it.

If you want a distinction, Audience Reactions are not necessarily YMMV — whether a work has a Hatedom or not is not something that can, in and of itself, be argued. By contrast, YMMV articles like Complete Monster are things present in the work, even if whether they are present or not is subjective.

A good rule of thumb: If it's an interpretation of something in the work, it's YMMV. If it's something the audience feels it's an Audience Reaction.
