I kinda prefer "this", since the punctuation isn't part of the word itself.

Now, if it was for an entire sentence, I would pothole the entire thing.

Well, as a typography geek, I have my thoughts on hyperlinking and punctuation: regarding the quotes, if I am to design a website, I always make it so quotes themselves are blue (because they are a part of hyperlink) yet not underlined (because it is, well, punctuation, it cannot be hypertext) but that's pretty hard to implement - and nobody gives two fingers about design here anyway, apparently (Light Grey text on White background? Courier? Really?) - and I wanted to know if there are any specific conventions on this very wiki.
