Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I did as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNo, the site was down for everyone.
This site is your friend: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/tvtropes.org.html
It went down again just a while ago. WTH is going on?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Hang on, there's a site for unactive sites? That definitely deserves some spotlight, because it would be very useful for many other occurrences.
As for the query itself, personally, the site's been doing great for me as far as I can recall. Maybe the connection in general has been actin' funny around you, MarqFJA?
I'm from Piedmont. No relation with Piedmon, mind you!No, it 404'ed for me as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs well as myself and several guys in Troper Updates. http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com also marked it as down for a while. I guess one can just say lucky you, Alex!
Edited by Telcontar That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I guess I'm lucky indeed, but I don't know how it works exactly. Must be some kind of issue there in Eagleland, considering here in Italy there's no such problem (and often the same can be said about the opposite, so don't worry).
I'd wait for Fasty Eddy to deal with this and report an explanation (although, then again, I highly doubt it's an internal issue).
I'm from Piedmont. No relation with Piedmon, mind you!^I live in Switzerland, by the way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman@Alex Sora More of a site (well, sites plural) where, if you're having trouble reaching a site, you can see if it's your computer that's the problem or if it's down for everyone.
Am I the only one to suffer persistent connection problems to this site over the past 30 minutes or so?
