That's bizarre on so many levels. Unless there's something serious I've missed I cannot believe this was included via any kind of consensus.

Also, just looking at the page, it seems to be comically inconsistent with alphabetization in general, if not outright just unalphabetized.

Yeah, that seems to be not only a bizarre note but just flat-out wrong for how things are done on TV Tropes. the How to Alphabetize Things page under Administrivia mentions nothing about alphabetizing things in this manner.

The note was added here by tdarcos almost a year ago, where they also seemed to do a lot of the reorganization themselves.

Noting as well that they haven't edited since January.

Would that count as a unilateral change?

I'd also assume it'd be safe to remove, unless there's been a discussion elsewhere we're not privy to? I've not seen a note like that anywhere else on the wiki and it goes against the previously mentioned administrivia.

"Have" is not an article, so alphabetization under H is correct.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.

I figure that what an official policy page says would supersede anything else most of the time, so I think it should be safe to remove that bit from the description.

I've gone ahead and removed the last bit of the note from the description. Also, maybe we can bring the alphabetization issue up on the Alphabetically ordering example pages thread?
