Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
See This Is a Wiki. You don't need permission to make more pages (but they do need to be following the style and other regulations).
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupRight, ok. how do i do that
figured it out. important question: how long are urls supposed to be? Should I shorten the UR Ls to just "Fazbear Frights[Title]" instead of "Five Nights At Freddys Fazbear Frights[Title]"? I have a feeling that "Five Nights At Freddys Fazbear Frights He Told Me Everything" might be a bit much.
Page names have a maximum length of sixty-four characters (not including the namespace). If they get longer than that, the resulting wicks make various wiki functions break.
I'd name the pages "Fazbear Frights[Title]"; if you include the franchise's name on top of that, you're burning over half the allotted characters on information that all the pages share.
Edited by Vandagyre I don't actually have any Bumblebee icons, I just think the nickname is funny.ok, thank u
Hey!
I've recently been hyperfocused on the Five Nights at Freddy's books, specifically Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex, which have the same page on here. I think separate "recap/characters/etc" pages for the different shorts (the way TV episodes are, example: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/BlackMirrorTheNationalAnthem ) would be very helpful, and I would be down to add, like, all of them if wanted. I have enough passion to get through a good chunk of em at least.
Is that, like, a good idea? Or too much? I just figured I should ask first cause I am always worried about making new pages/additions without permission. I know that making excessive pages can be annoying, I just think it would actually be very helpful and I would love to help out.
Thanks, Connie
