At this point the The issue takes up so much air in the room I think a dedicated Short Term thread for it really is in order. Including a possible Single Issue Crowner for their wholesale removal as a matter of wiki policy.
Vaguely related, but WTF is a "Yinpot Dictator"? Is that just a typo that's been on the page for two years? It looks intentionally added (by the troper who got banned for adding the The last time, incidentally) but I can't make heads or tails of it.

I removed it citing here. I also have no idea what Yinpot Dictator means. Is it some kind of former trope name?
Just a typo that has never been corrected... until now, because I just did it.

The only reason I wasn't sure it was just a typo was because looking at the edit history, it looks very deliberate. They turned "tinpot dictator" into "Yinpot dictator" with caps and everything. How odd.
