Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure deleting Headscratchers isn't ok, since that technically counts as YMMV. Have any other notifiers been sent?
Trans rights are human rights!Sorry is that something I can check? or something we need a mod for?
Edited by dcutter2Yeah, it does seem off. Also, I'd bring them back and link Edit Reasons and Why You Should Use Them in your edit reason.
^ Done. I hope I understood the context page correctly to put it back in the right place.
IIRC deleting headscratchers is only OK if they're blatantly false (e.g. "Why did Hero steal the blue car instead of the red one?" when Hero definitely stole the red car in canon, or something like that).
I serve at the pleasure of President Pritchart. We can also delete IJBM holdovers if they're not phrased as questions (As in "It bugs me so much that Bob did this"), duplicate questions, and meta questions about real life rather than the work itself. Basic cleanup stuff.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness^^^Thanks and I'm glad my advice was (apparently) helpful. (I hope this comment doesn't count as "popcorning" lol.)
I noticed Tropers/3-orange-whips had deleted a chunk of of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness page and looking at this history I saw they'd deleted people's questions out of headscatchers at least here (Strange) and here (Saving Private Ryan)
Deleting other people's questions seems a bit off to me? And also no leaving a reason to say why. I did send a Edit Reason message but haven't heard back in over 24 hrs.
