Howl of Sorrow, subtrope of The Scream
Edited by CSS1Howl of Sorrow is correct, but I feel the need to point out that The Scream isn't "someone screams", it's "someone screams and it zooms out".
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness^ That's just one of four variants mentioned in the bullet points.
Depending on exactly what happens in the scene, you might also want to look at Big "NO!".
^^ Okay, so it's "a scream is portrayed a special way". I still wouldn't say all screams are a subtrope of it, but now I see I've also been mislead by several other tropers who all claimed The Scream was super narrow.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHowl of sorrow works. Thanks!
Is there a trope for screaming in despair?
