Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Dewicking means that a page's wicks are being removed from the wiki.
Adult Fear is no longer a trope so all of its wicks are either being deleted or moved to another trope listed in the disambiguation.
Edited by MacronNotes Macron's notesAdult Fear is turned into a Disambig page and can't be used as a trope example, use any other specific trope from the Adult Fear list instead. Discussion.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanupthough this isn't really what the post is about, be careful of language like "my story" when referring to a work page on the site. The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours. In the future, so long as there is clear justification in the edit reason, edits to that work page, even ones you may disagree with, still stand. (If you do disagree and want to see if others also agree, you can make another ATT post just like this one to discuss).
Edited by amathieu13I made no change to it, I reverted no changes, I simply asked what it was. It was important to apply the context of the situation, and why I would care. So 'in the future, it stands' doesnt really apply.
I'll say literature because I'm not sure where best to put it, but someone recently deleted one of the tropes on a fanfiction I'm writing, Adult Fear, saying only that it was 'Dewicked Trope'. Can anyone explain the meaning of that to me?
