Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Well, they aren't as much trouble.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyDoesn't it imply some sort of bias? That we can talk about the other operating systems but anything involving Microsoft?
No, it implies that other operating systems don't attract the hate hard-on that Windows seems to gather, and for the most part don't have a hatedom just itching for an excuse to go off and rant about the "unholy OS" or whatever.
A lot of the "cut/locked because of assholes" pages could well still be around for editing if it wasn't for said assholes displaying little to no self control in regards to not using TVT as their personal internet toilet.

Edited by Nohbody All your safe space are belong to TrumpCould we make sandbox pages for them, and then have them locked, with any edits to be upon request?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. You can also try YKTTW but please note that it will work only if the pages do not attract problems on the rest of the wiki.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanStill feels like a Double Standard though. I mean how are newcomoers supposed to know otherwise why How Video Game Specs Work list both {{UNIX} and Mac OS but not Windows isn't due to some bias but to cut off ranting? And just to be frank, should we even have pages on operating systems and computer specs? Why do we have them in the first place?
The latter two questions properly belong into a Wiki Talk thread. As for the first one, you could try YKTTWing a new, neutral page and ask the staff to put it in.

It has been noted that Microsoft and Microsoft Windows has been cut. My question is, what does it mean for all the other articles listed on How Video Game Specs Work here? In particular, we still have UNIX and Mac OS. Wouldn't it be a Double Standard to have them and not have Windows?
