I think it does. There have been other cases in which a troper adds something complain-y, someone else removes it, and the original troper re-adds it with a slightly different wording. It still counts as an edit war; I made a similar query a few months ago with almost the exact same set-up as the one here (involving a troper adding reception outside YMMV pages and then re-adding it with the wording altered slightly).

It's violating the spirit of edit war rules for sure, and I'd say you can go ahead and revert that one, linking the original query (and this one if you want to be a completist).

Hi I’m the person who added it. I don’t even remember adding it originally, so I didn’t realize I was getting into editing war territory. I also didn’t think it was an issue to mention a film’s awards history under this trope, as I thought it was sort of interesting trivia to note that an Oscar bait movie made such a small splash at during the years awards ceremony. This was not an attempt at complaining, though I will admit I hated this movie, so who knows maybe it was subconscious. Anyway, I’m fine with the addition being removed. Like I said, I thought it was an okay addition given the circumstances, but I really don’t care if it’s there or not, and I don’t want to get into any kind of conflict.
