openAn Anime with an Older brother, a ten year sister, a forest, and maybe (red) butterflies
I saw the page for it on tvtropes, and I think that the brother had to protect the sister either because of some powers of hers or others, or from this forest. I only read the front page of the tvtropes cover.
openShort-lived TVO Kids show Live Action TV
This was on TVO Kids in like...1999? 2000? It only lasted about a year or so and it only played on weekend mornings, so I didn't get to see a whole lot of it. It was hosted a blonde woman (I'm about 90% sure this was the same woman who co-hosted Stuff) and it was related to science. She explores a topic and sometimes it cuts away to an animation as she thinks about the topic. I think there was one episode where she learned about ballet.
openA guy driving a tank, shot his ally and sent to investigate another military case Film
Hi all, I recall this is a film. It's wartime and our protagonist is in command of a group of tanks and somehow the got mixed up with their enemies. He ordered all allies to turn their light on the tank, and shot the one that didn't. Turn out that one IS their ally and he resigned due to this incident. Then he was assigned a task to investigate another case. The background is like a group of soldiers are captured(or surrounded?) by the enemies and when the rescue came, those boarded the plane said "everyone else is dead" and that area got bombarded, killing all possible survivors. At last our protagonist pinpointed the culprit and he drove his car onto the railways to get crushed by the train(read "commit suicide"). The end.
The details may not be accurate... thanks in advance.
openStrange video game console/game Videogame
I've been trying to find the name of a console (and hopefully a game) I used to play when I was a child. I can only remember a few things. One: It was an educational console for sure. The logo was a square with a smiley face. Two: There was a Winne the Pooh game for the console (2D sidescroller, involved collecting honey). Three: The game I am looking for involves some sort of cgi cutscene involving what I can only assume is some sort of mad scientist, but that's it.
Even just knowing what console this was would help me find this game. Thank you!
openThere's this anime with lion-headed people and winged people Anime
It's set on the moon of some planet. There are Roving Bases, people with lion heads, and this one black haired dude who could sprout white wings and fly.
openBoy scares off "savage natives" by sounding a British cavalry charge on his bugle. Film
I thought it was a really cool movie, but I can't remember the name of the film.
openA boy uses a comic book to find his father. Live Action TV
I remember a watching a tv show where a boy was cleaning a room and found a comic behind a picture that gave him clues to find his father. Oh, the boy had a photographic memory and he had a friend with him. The comic also had coordinates or something to an astronaut suit. I just can't remember the name.
resolved Chica's voice in SMG4 videos
In Supermarioglitchy4s Super Mario 64 Bloopers, whenever Chica appears, she's usually heard making chicken sounds or shouting "PIZZAAAAA!" (See here for example.) The voices in the two clips sound the same, so I think they're from the same source. Does anyone know where they came from?
Edited by DrNoPumaopenA scene in a beauty shop Live Action TV
I'm looking for a show in which there's a scene in a beauty shop (I think) and a guy comes to talk to a girl who shops there near the cashier, just before the man who was accompanying the girl comes and tells him "You know she's only 16?" or something like that. The guy doesn't seem bothered IIRC. I know it sounds tacky like that but it was better brought than what I am depicting... Thanks!
openMOVIE BASED ON MANGA
There's a movie that came out a few years ago in the West, I think maybe in 2012, that was based on a Manga. I think it was pretty well received on Rotten Tomatoes.
openCartoon Man Grows Wings Western Animation
I think this cartoon was from a series of shorts Nickelodeon did in the late 80s/early 90s. There was a man and he had an itchy back, so he scratched it against his chair and he grew wings. He spends the cartoon flying around until his wings get shot off. He's all depressed, then notices something poking out of his jacket. He smiles, scratches his back against the chair again and gets his wings back.
openUnnerving children's book about a girl going to an alternate dimension with her alt self and alt dog Literature
I read this children's book a long time ago...this girl goes to an alternate universe somehow and it's mostly located in her house in the alternate universe. I seem to recall her going in a hot air balloon but I might be mixing that up with the Oz books. She finds an alternate her there, who she just thinks of as her twin, and alt!her has a different name, I believe. Alt!Her is peppier and more popular, but really nice, and they become friends. There is also an alt!dog that's black. Maybe a Labrador? But there's also some sort of female guardian, either alt!mom or alt!aunt or something, though I'm leaning toward aunt, and she seems very nice but actually is a witch, or something. One day the dog...falls through a mirror or something and comes back out way different. Doesn't wag his tail or bark happily anymore, just kind of eats and walks. And his eyes look dead inside. And it really concerns the girl and her alt!self. Then her alt!self starts acting weird too, just brushing her hair and smiling with this fixed smile, and her eyes look dead too. And the girl realizes that their souls have been eaten by the alt!aunt. I don't remember the book ending that happily. I seem to remember her being successfully transported back to her own dimension, but the thing where her alt!dog and alt!self's souls are gone was never really fixed?? I remember that unnerving the hell out of me. Preemptively, it wasn't Coraline.

The witch give him that jewel. - 2nd: (i don't remember, but the witch easily do that too) - 3nd: a haired frog. Since the witch's true form is the haired frog, she shapshift to her original shape. The man shave her hair, make her lost magic power.
openLooking for an old TV show
There was a TV show, long time ago. Mother and daughter move to a new city. Mother's lover from the past lives in that city and is now engaged to another, evil woman. It turns out he still loves her but can't break the promise he already made. The evil lady has another woman who helps her make all the decisions and who makes her cling harder to the guy. The mother is a high school teacher, her daughter goes to the same school. The daughter thinks she isn't pretty, doesn't believe in herself. She is a nerd and has long curly hair. She meets a guy at the school and they kinda click together. He is walking her back one day when the mother sees the guy and invites him in for dinner. There's also a scene in a cabin with the mother and her lover. I know this is very little to go off off. This was so long ago that I watched this, it might be something I dreamed of, lol. Please let me know if you have seen anything resembling this before.
openAncient Egypt-themed Fantasy Novel Literature
This is one of those fantasy books I read when I was a kid, but I can't for the life of me remember the title or author. I think I started reading the second book or something: I remember it was set in what Ancient-Egpytian themed fantasy universe. The main antagonist was some sort of general; he was conquering the land, but also constantly mourning for his 'Lost Lenore'. One place he tried to conquer was called 'The C Ity of the Dead' I believe, ruled by some sort of scholarly elite, but they bribed him to let them be.
One of the deities that keept cropping up was called "The Rain Queen" I believe, and there was some sort of legend about her falling in love with a mortal man, but him being killed, or betraying her or something. Because of that she was angry at humanity. Other than that, I can only remember a character, a middle-aged woman who was like a phony medium/spiitualist who made fake blood come out of a mirror, and a scene where it starts raining insects from the sky- the 'Rain Queen's revenge'. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
openBoys finds a tunnel in his bed Live Action TV
Hi, I have very vague memories of this show. About all I remember as of now is that a young boy goes under the blankets of his bed and crawls toward the foot of his bed but he keeps going and it turns into a tunnel to another place.
openLooking for Rugrats episodes Western Animation
So I have been watching Rugrats for the nostalgia factor, and I was wondering the names of a few episodes. First is an episode where Tommy gets trapped in a toy store (with Chuckie maybe?), second is one where the babies go to a carnival and get free small boxes of Reptar cereal, third is one where the kids go to like a gardening place and pretend it's some sort of jungle, and lastly one where Tommy goes to a park but it's really hot so he puts a diaper over his head and it's like a desert. Thanks in advance
openBig babies Live Action TV
This is probably a misuse of this tool, but there is no mention of the CBBC comedy 'Big Babies' on the website, and I want to use this as a 'media launchpad' of sorts, to see if anyone is aware of it. I'm inexperienced with wiki editing, so some tips to get a media page started (or someone doing it for me) would be helpful. Please don't kill me for this.
openEpisode of Some Horror Anthology Live Action TV
I saw something on TV a while ago. It was just a few years ago, but I'm pretty sure the show was from the 80s. There was a marathon of this show, which I want to say was Tales from the Darkside (though it could have been a different one). In the episode I'm thinking of, a woman goes home from college by train, and she ends up in the last car with a lot of really unusual people. Everything is relatively normal until the train enters a ridiculously long and dark tunnel, and then everyone goes nuts, attacking each other and seemingly killing each other, then acting totally normal and alive again. Eventually it comes to light that everyone in that car is dead and the woman is shown at the end as a spiderweb-covered corpse sitting in the train car. I can't find any record of this, but I'm reasonably sure it exists- I remember far too much of it to have imagined it.
