Hi all, I recall this is a film. It's wartime and our protagonist is in command of a group of tanks and somehow the got mixed up with their enemies. He ordered all allies to turn their light on the tank, and shot the one that didn't. Turn out that one IS their ally and he resigned due to this incident. Then he was assigned a task to investigate another case. The background is like a group of soldiers are captured(or surrounded?) by the enemies and when the rescue came, those boarded the plane said "everyone else is dead" and that area got bombarded, killing all possible survivors. At last our protagonist pinpointed the culprit and he drove his car onto the railways to get crushed by the train(read "commit suicide"). The end.
The details may not be accurate... thanks in advance.
